About Verbena Kitchen

We are a small, women led team with a passion for hospitality and seasonal, local food. The restaurant opened in April 2021 and offers seasonally inspired menus at an accessible price point, in a relaxed and intimate environment. The team is led by Chloë, a chef who moved to Birmingham aged 18 to study at UCB and worked in several fine dining restaurants, before settling in Stirchley in 2018. Since then the Stirchley community has really grown and we know that it was the right place to start the business. Our ethos is strongly driven by our desire to support women in the hospitality industry. This is reflected in our food and we strive to use as many women led, local and small producers as possible.
