About L'absurde
L'absurde is a curated homeware and lifestyle store located on the UK's southeast coast in vibrant Margate.
Founded by Kristin Vicari and Nicolas Levant in early 2022, our passion here at L'absurde is to combine vintage with contemporary homewares alongside truly unique original artworks to create an other worldly universe.
In the L'absurde universe everything has a visual purpose.
We believe creating a space that is inviting and inspiring is all about the balance of style, colour and genres whilst celebrating characterful additions, pieces that make the
heart really sing. We are most definitely not traditionalists.
Our artists and brands are specially selected for their unique creations, we hope combined in the L'absurde universe they are an inspiration to your senses as much as they are to ours.
With sustainability at the forefront of our decisions we work with eco-conscious makers and brands, while we use vintage pieces with the hope of saving items from being tossed in a landfill. Most of our vintage collection is sourced in France and we rework a number of these pieces to bring a modernity and freshness to them.
We also believe that beautiful homeware and art should be acessible to all which is why we strive to have a range of products for all budgets. Come and visit us in store for a unique shopping experience or to just say hi .....we have loved meeting our clients and discussing all
