The lodge is nestled in the heart of Boscombe, Dorset and is Deus’ long-awaited home in the UK.
The Lodge of Heavy Leisure is a world of pure zen and encouraged chaos. Built on the foundations of a beautifully characterised Edwardian mansion, this location is here to cater to all forms of ‘Heavy Leisure’. Sip on a fresh cup of java in the morning or a couple of cold ones in the evening from its coffee shop/ bar. Dine at our restaurant, boasting natural light and serving up the best in bites and beats all day long, no better place to spend with friends. Our retail space will be stocked up with the latest and greatest clobber from the season, plus a line-up of Deus Surfboards, exclusively available here in the UK.
Lastly, we have an array of beautifully bespoke rooms for any weary traveller to rest, each designed to amplify a mixture of energies.

Although Deus is an established brand, The Lodge of Heavy Leisure is independently owned and managed.

What we love

The Lodge is a place you want to make your home for days. Thoughtful considerations has been given to every detail, from the menu to the interiors. The ground floor restaurant bar and boutique is an open plan collection spaces, each with a distinct vide. This eclectic feel and laid back playlist will keep you wanting to come back for more. The shop, sells curated Deus Merch (a brand we love), and if you want to make it an overnight stay, this isn't your typical English seaside hotel; each suite is dipped in Deus style. If this was not enough, did we mention they have a Sauna?!
