About Teotihuacan Archaeological Site

The Teotihuacan pyramids, located northeast of Mexico City, are the centerpiece of one of the largest and most influential ancient cities in the Americas. Built between the 1st and 7th centuries CE, the site includes the towering Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent. These monumental structures line the Avenue of the Dead and reflect the city’s sophisticated urban planning, astronomy, and religious life. Today, Teotihuacan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains a symbol of Mexico’s deep pre-Hispanic history.

Took an uber early to see the hot air balloons flying over the pyramids, absolutely magical.
